layout and card with the new Dusty Attic flowers

Hi all!

Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful sunny day?

Here in the Netherlands, Spring has arrived and the weather is absolutely perfect!

Today a layout and card using the brand new flowers from Dusty Attic.

Aren't they just gorgeous?!!

Painted the background with gesso and randomly sprinkled some embossing powder on it.

Tore up some pps from Prima, the Nature Garden collection.

The swirls are from Unique Hobby Products.

The frame is from Scrapdelight.

All the other embellies (the bird cage, letters and tile) are also from Prima.

Did some stitching on the white ridged cardboard, which is actually some wrapping paper from a roll of biscuits.

The thread comes from my stash.

thinking about you today -card-

Hi all!

Today a very little post with a very little tip to create some texture on chippies.

All you have to do is mixing some gesso with micro beads and voila!

As you can see I don't have a lot of space and my table is always a big mess!lol

My misting and painting are done in the kitchen or the livingroom floor.

Lucky me for having such a supportive hubby and kids!lol

I sooooo need more space!!!!!

Hello everyone!

My girls and their boyfriends.

Can't believe my youngest, Yiscka is turning 18 this weekend!!!

Time to Party!

The beautiful Kaiserkraft papers and the trim were a gift from a friend.

Started the background with gesso and randomly sprinkled some embossing powder.

The lovely bird cage, chandelier and the mini fleur de lis are from Dusty Attic.

Painted them white with gesso and added some liquid pearls.

my favorite color

Hi all! 

Wanted to make a canvas in my fav colors for a long time, so finally here it is.

In my house you can find this color every where!

Had so much fun making this!

This project was made for Dusty Attic, using their gorgeous new chippies.

At first I gave the canvas a little coat of gesso.

Added all the fun stuff as letters, lace, buttons and cardboard.

Painted all this with another coat of gesso.

Sprayed it all with glimmermist.

Stamped the text and butterfly.

For the chippies I used embossing powder and  glued them on the canvas.

Added some little white flowers, tulle, some thread and some liquid pearls to finish it off. 

Really like the result and it matches my room perfectly!
