C'est Magnifique part 2

Hi all!

Here are my last projects for  C'est Magnifique as their guest designer for May.

Really loved working with these ladies and their May kit!!!!

Photo is from hubby and me on our vacation to Greece last year.

Now that our girls are having their own vacations, we really love those trips together.

Every time it's like the honeymoon we never had!

Cut the big white Theresa Collins flower and tucked in the lace to make the little "bridal' bouquet under the photo.

Created the background with shimmerz from the kit using my fingers.

How much fun was that!

Made the flowers with the gorgeous Wonderland papers from the kit.

Photo is from Yiscka who turned 18 in march this year.

Sigh....I'm getting old!!!LOL!!!

My sweet 'little' baby! Beautiful....inside and out!

 Just love to alter these small wooden boxes.

They are perfect for little gifts!

Guest designer for C'est Magnifique kit club

Hi all!

I was so thrilled when I was asked to be a guest designer for the month of may at  C'est Magnifique!

This club has some awesome monthly kits!

Today I want to share my first post with two layouts and a card.

For this layout I used only all the gooddies from the main kit.

Created the background with gesso and the blue shimmerz from the kit.

Also used two pieces from the package cardboard.

Thought the colors of the paper matches the lovely pic of Yiscka perfectly.

Hi all!

Made this page with a lot of Dusty Attic goodies!

Used the flowers, the chicken wire panel and a fancy trim.

Weaved a ribbon through the trim.

I colored the Dusty Attic flowers with turquoise glimmermist.

Also misted the pieces of cotton.

Had a lot of fun with this page!

It was very difficult to get a good picture of the page with the word band from Tim Holtz.

After several pics I kinda give up!lol

It says: know in your heart you are loved.

sweet little me

Hi all!

I don't have many photo's of little me.

You probably recognized the photo because I scrapped this one already.

Some photo's just have to be scrapped again!

Inked the background to soften it a bit.

Used the sunflower vine and the nameplate from Dusty Attic.

Just LOVE their chippies!!

The chippies were given a little coat of gesso using my fingers.

The fabric flowers are handmade.

The little Dusty Attic flourish, DA 0223 are just perfect for cards!

The background was painted with gesso.

 Sprinkled some red embossing powder while the paint was still wet.

Hi all!

When Yiscka started her study last year, she met Natalie. From day one they are the best friends having a lot of fun together. She is such a sweet and funny girl!

Every time she visit us, she is loving all the crafty things I made so I promised her to make a layout using her favorite color, green.

So here it is: an all green page!

I framed the LO and gave it as a gift and she just loved it.

Misted the background and used a gorgeous new heart from Dusty Attic, DA 0684.

The cute white metal bird was found at a local home decor store.

mirror with drawer and pin-cushion

Hi all!

When I found this wooden mirror with drawer (Action store), I just had to alter it!

Made a pin-cushion to go with it.

Used the gorgeous Pion papers.

The flourish on top is from Dusty Attic.

Here are some details:

Used some gesso and glimmermist for the DA flourish.

And here some photo's of the pin-cushion:

Little round box is from Xenos.

Used a round styrofoam (piepschuim), cut it in half and put some fabric around it.

winter layout

Hi all!

Although spring has come, today a winter page.

We didn't have much snow this winter but those few snow days were really magical.

Got the chance to get some lovely photo's and some of them had to be scrapped!

The Dusty Attic door was first painted with gesso.

Then I applied a crackle clear medium and heat it up a little bit to get some texture.

Once dry, I randomly inked with some black ink.

Another layer of crackle clear medium.

Heat it with the heat gun and finally another thin layer of gesso.

Again heated it until it was completely dry.

Really like the effect of it!

It's so much fun to make these flowers!

Got a lot of questions how to make these flowers.

I use a small tool from Clover.
