Notebook

Hi all!

I was so tired of all the little pieces of papers and notes in my house, so I decided to make a notebook. A handy book to keep all my thoughts, favorite quotes, ideas and inspirations.

Painted with gesso and acrylic paints.

Hi all!

Made my first mini album..yeah!

This one is a gift to my co-worker. 

She got retired from work today and I wanted to give her something personal. 

Just a reminder of all the lovely, fun and wonderful hours working together at the lab.

It was quite a challenge embellishing the pages to keep it flat!

canvas for Yiscka

Hi all!

This canvas was made for my youngest daughter Yiscka.

When she got these cute mini nail polishers from her big sis, I immediate knew what I wanted to make.

Made this canvas which reflect her personality perfectly.

She is such a happy, sunny and loving girl and she really colors my world and the world around her!

She absolutely loved this canvas and it's now proudly hanging on her bedroom wall.

Had a lot of fun making this!

First started to layering the jute, cardboard, threads, some metal parts and tooth-pics.

Covered it all with a layer of gesso.

Misted and painted it and began to embellish with the colors of the mini nail-polishers.

Used some Dusty Attic goodies.  

I'm seriously in LOVE with their chippies!

boat trip Samos

Hello everyone!

 On our vacation to Samos,Greece we made a boat trip to a deserted, little and gorgeous beach.

Wanted to kinda blend this photo into the background and did a lot of painting.

I'm really pleased with the result!

This one is for hubby who absolutely loves boats!

The background was painted with acrylic paints and gesso.

Overheated some area's to get more texture.

Made the brown flowers with small ribbon.

The lighthouse and fish net were given a little coat with gesso.

august ATC

Hi all!

It's a new month so time for the august ATC challenge and swap at Dusty Attic.

The theme for this month is "through the window".

Since I didn't have a window frame, I decided to make one myself.

The shutters were made from ribbon (glued on a piece of white cardstock) and the beachy scenery was painted with acrylic paint.
