Two cards -2Crafty Chipboard-

And here is my second project this month for 2Crafty Chipboards.

Made these cards on card sized canvases.

These are great to work with as they hold the mediums perfectly!

For these cards I cut up the Turkish Lace panel and glued them on the small canvas cards.

Also glued some plaster tape for extra texture.

Added some art stones and gessoed the two cards before the paints.

Once dry, they got a touch with some gesso.

Here you can see the different between before and after the final touch with gesso.

I just love the much more softer look! :) 

With the plaster I created more texture.

The words got two coats with some gesso.

The art stones.

The butterfly was painted and I gessoed the edges.

Summer - 2Crafty Chipboard-

Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing a summer canvas featuring lots of 2Crafty Chipboards.
Except for the mini roses everything is chipboard.

SUMMER

I wanted to make a summer canvas featuring lots of gorgeous chipboards! 

Made the background by glueing some plaster tape with gel medium.

Added the paints and once dry, some gesso to make it look softer.

I used some crackle paint for the old fence.

All the chipboard got a coat of gesso first before all the paints.

Colored the berry branch with acrylic paints and once dry, a little touch with some gesso.

The thistle shrub got the same treatment.

The plaster tape in the background gives it some more texture.

Again painted and lightly touched with some gesso.

The butterfly, painted with some acrylic paint and gessoed the edges.

Beauty - 2Crafty Chipboard-

Helle everyone! 

Today I want to share another DT project for 2Crafty Chipboard.

Hubby and me are also loving our long walks together and on these walks I love to make photos.

This one is from an early walk with the fresh dew on all the plants and trees.

BEAUTY

Started this project by glueing the elegant flourish and some bubble clumps.

Gessoed the whole canvas and added some modeling paste. 

I made some circles in the wet modeling paste with a small stick.

Once dry, I added all the paints.

Some gesso as an extra touch to let the chipboard stand out more.

The circles made in the wet modeling paste gives a nice background.

The flourish on the background.

A piece of the bubble clump.

The same piece of flourish I used in the background but this one got a coat with gesso.

Under all the chipboards and flowers, I added some felting wool.

The word was painted with some acrylic paint.

Another piece of the bubble clumps, also painted with some gesso.

Made some watered white acrylic paint for the splatters. 

Love how it looked on that felting wool.

Dream -2Crafty Chipboard-

Hello everyone!

Ingrid here today with two canvas layouts to share with you.
For this project I used a photo from our last year vacation to Greece.

DREAM

With this project I started by making the background using a stencil and modeling paste.

Added the paints and toned it down with some gesso.

Used a thread string to make the vertical line.

Also used some felting wool to create some texture.

The dream arrow chippie, almost bare and with a light touch of gesso.

The dandelion chippie got two coats of gesso.

The felting wool gives it a nice dreamy, almost a watercolor look.

Added some beads.

A piece of the Leafy Shrub Set 1

Some flowers with a center of the felting wool.

All got a final touch with some gesso.
