I want to share a special project today.

As you might know my daughter got married this year and I wanted to make her something special.

Had this wooden shutter piece for a long time and this occasion was perfect for it!

Painted the shutter and added some crackle paint.

Sanded the edges to create a more older look.

Hello crafty friends!

And here is my second DT project for 2Crafty Chipboard, a very special one for me.

Found this small photo of my mom who passed away nine years ago....miss her so much...

PRECIOUS

A round canvas for a change!

I started this one by applying some modeling paste on the canvas.

Added some colors (my moms favorite!). 

The fine word 'precious' with two coats of gesso.

For this project I cut up one of the fine stem frame and layered them on one side.

A flower doily and a whispy dandelion.

Hello there creative friends! 

Today on my blog another project with a vacation photo.
I just love these small streets with all the colors!

GREECE

For this project I used some chipboard to create texture in the background.

Added some beads and art stones.

I used two of the flourish to create this cluster.

vacation - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hello everyone!

Today I have a vacation canvas to share with you.

This is my second DT project for 2Crafty Chipboard.

VACATION

Made this project with a photo of our latest vacation to Greece.

We had the most perfect time on the small island of Skiathos.

I started this piece again by glueing some Chequerbox clumps chipboard.

Randomly added some modeling paste to create more texture in the background.

Painted with some blues to match the sea and a final touch with gesso.

I placed the vacation word along one shutter side.

Some paper flowers, a crocheted flower, art stones and some wool felt tucked in.

I bend the chequerbox clumps chipboard a bit to create a more loose effect.

The Leafy twig branches were lightly touched with some gesso.
