love -card-

Hi all!

A lot of birthdays and celebrations the next months
so I better make sure I have some cards at hand.
Have to make some masculine cards as well but I find them more difficult than feminine ones.
Just love my lace and flowers!
Made this card for a sweet scrap friend.

The background was created with gesso and embossing powder.
Just sprinkle some embossing powder on the wet gesso.

Enjoy your day!

I love samos

Hi all!

Today another page with a photo of our last summer vacation to Samos, Greece.
Kokkari is the name of this lovely little place we visited.

Did a lot of painting on the background.
The chippies got a layer of gesso.
The "I (heart) Samos" was a small sugar bag, which I took back from Greece.
We scrappers can use everything, can't we?LOL

layout and card

Hi all!

Today a layout of the two lovebirds, Yiscka and Martin.
Photo was taken when we had a lovely boat trip this summer.
Yiscka hardly want me to take her photo these days,
but she couldn't run from mom and her camera on the boat! LOL!
ps..she loved all the photo's I took that day so....she happy and mom happy!

Misted and stamped the background.
Sprinkled some mini beads into the wet gesso.
Dabbed some gesso with a sponge to give it a more soft look.
Painted the chippies with gesso.

Some details:

Used a lot of Dusty goodies on this page:
Birds on a wire, DA 0708
Old Telegraph Poles, DA 0707
Nameplate #5, DA 0609
Mini Birdhouses, DA 0706
Mini Birds #2, DA 0724
Bird Nests #2, DA 0721
Dusty in Bloom, Vintage rose, DA 0803
Dusty in Bloom, Bridal Veil, DA 0805

I really love these colors together so I decided to make a card also.
Just like the layout, I misted and stamped the background.

For this card I used the ATC Frame #1, DA 0673 and the Dusty in Bloom, Evening Blush, DA 0808

Have a lovely day!

ATC and mini tag

Hi all!

I heard the song "Radar Love" from the Dutch rock band "Golden Earring" on the radio the other day.
They had a huge number one hit in 1973.
This was my inspiration for this month ATC challenge and swap at Dusty Attic.
This month theme is 'steampunk' and these mini cogs from Dusty Attic were just perfect for it.

Misted and stamped the background.
Painted the wooden heart with glimmer glaze.
Mini Cogs, DA0689

Also made a mini tag:
Mini Scrolls, DA0685

Hope you liked my *mini* post for today!

Hi all!

When I just finished this card, I noticed the 50 in the patterned paper. Now I have to find someone who is turning 50 since I can't send it to myself ( shhhhh, don't tell.......turning 50 this november!LOL).

Sprinkled some embossing powder on the wet gesso to create the background.
Dusty Attic chippies used:
Hour Glass, DA 0642

Enjoy your day!
