13 arts GD projects september

Hi all!

Here are my projects as a guest designer for this month at 13 arts.

My first project is an altered wooden CD box.

Mostly all of the products are from 13 arts.

I used the Ayeeda's mists, gesso, acrylic gel medium, twigs, flowers, metal frame, mesh

 and the text tag from the 'faces of spring' collection.

Misted some tissue paper to create the background.

Glued the tissue papers to the box with Ayeeda's acrylic gel medium.

Toned the colors with some gesso, using a sponge.

Painted the metal frame with some gesso.

Just love the texture from the tissue papers!

My second project is a mini canvas, 6x6" (15x15cm).

For this canvas I used the same mists colors as the wooden box: 

Ayeeda's Mist: pearl navy blue

Ayeeda's Mist: chalk turquoise

Ayeeda's Mist: chalk yellow lemon

The canvas will be a gift so I also made a small tag.

A small post today.

Made this winter card with the "Wintertime in Swedish Lapland" collection from Pion Design.

The 6x6" sheets are just perfect for cards!

Used a lot of lace to create the background.

perfect beach -layout-

Hi all!

Made this layout to remind me of all those lovely, sunny and warm summer days.

Took this photo on our vacation to Samos, Greece last year.

The texture was created by mixing modeling paste with sand.

40th wedding anniversary gift

Hi all!

Instead of a money filled gift card, I made this canvas for a 40th wedding anniversary.

Found the metal heart at a local home decor store.

The money can be rolled and tucked between the lace and the metal heart.

Hi all!

A layout today featuring the "From my Heart II" collection from Pion Design.

Distressed all the edges of the papers and the punched flowers.

Used paints, gesso and modeling paste to create the background.

For my layouts I always start with a white sheet of cardstock.

Randomly painted with matching colors.

After drying I applied some modeling paste with a spatula.

Because I wanted to create a softer look, I sponged, again randomly, with some gesso.

Just love to create my backgrounds like this!

it's a girl!

Hi all!

Yes..it's a girl!

Today I want to share some projects I made for our newest member of the family!

My sister's son and his girlfriend are now the very proud parents of a sweet little girl!

Made this canvas as a wall hanging for the baby room.

Painted and gessoed the background and embellished it

 with lots of Imaginarium designs chipboard.

Also made this wooden book box.

And a matching tag.
